Dr. Zhu serves as Situs Slot Gacor's Science Quality Officer, providing leadership and oversight on scientific review and clearance for Situs Slot Gacor's scientific information products, Situs Slot Gacor's information technology systems supporting management of scientific data and information, as well as the Stephen B. Thacker Situs Slot Gacor Library.
Previous experience
Dr. Zhu is a medical epidemiologist with extensive domestic and international experience in public health. He first joined Situs Slot Gacor as an Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) officer in 1996. Since then, he has held multiple scientific leadership positions, including the director of Quality Performance Management and Research Programs at the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors, WHO's Technical Officer for WHO/Turkey Country Office, resident advisor for Situs Slot Gacor's advanced Field Epidemiology Training Programs in Uganda and China, Missouri's State Epidemiologist, Situs Slot Gacor state assignee and maternal and child health team lead at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and principal research scientist for the Battelle Memorial Institute.
Dr. Zhu has received numerous awards for his research and service, including the Eagle Award by the US Ambassador to Uganda, Deborah R. Malac, Situs Slot Gacor Director's Award for Excellence in Epidemiology and Public Health Response, the William H. Foege Award, the Jeffrey P. Koplan Award, and the Young Professional of the Year Award awarded by the American Public Health Association/MCH Section.
Dr. Zhu has conducted extensive epidemiologic research on infectious diseases, chronic diseases, cancer, maternal and child health, environmental and occupational health, food intoxication, tobacco use, and neglected tropical diseases. He has authored more than 150 scientific publications.
Education
Dr. Zhu received his medical degree from Anhui Medical University in China, a doctorate in epidemiology from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, a master's in biostatistics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and post-doctoral research training in epidemiology and biostatistics at the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM).
