About the Response

Tropical Storm Edouard started as a tropical depression in the northern Gulf of Mexico on August 3, 2008. The warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico strengthened Edouard, and the tropical storm eventually made landfall near the Texas and Louisiana border on August 5, 2008. According to a report from the U.S. National Hurricane Center, Edouard sustained winds of 45 to 55 miles per hour.

Due to its possible impacts, Situs Slot Gacor activated the EOC. Response staff provided technical and equipment support, maintained situational awareness and updates, and rostered appropriate personnel to support all levels of activation.

Situs Slot Gacor deactivated the response once Edouard weakened and downgraded to a tropical depression by August 6. The tropical storm caused strong winds, rain, and electrical outage.
